• What is Chemiluminescence?

"Chemiluminescence"(chemical luminescence) is the phenomenon arising from chemical reactions. Compounds generated in an excited state by chemical reactions, released to the ground state, discharge light. Exposed to the atmosphere almost all materials generate chemiluminescence as a result of oxidation reactions. The Chemiluminescence Analyzer (CLA series) is the most sensitive photon counting device and the only spectrometer with that sensitivity in the world. It detect down to 50 photons/cm2/sec (about 1/10000 of a firefly) 10-15 Watts.

  • Chemiluminescence Intensity

There are many things emitting ultra-weak light invisible to the human eye such as Chemiluminescence, Bioluminescence, Biophoton and we can study research for several field to detect such invisible light. Especially, Chemiluminescence can estimate the oxidation or deterioration level of organic samples. Our instrument is applied not only this oxidation field but the other several field.

  • Advantages of Chemiluminescence Method (CL Method)

It is important to evaluate and prolong the life-times of new products. Conventional methods cannot evaluate the early-stage levels of deterioration and inefficient time-consuming testing is necessary:

・Sample collection from the market -> several years
・Outdoor exposure test -> few years
    ・Accelerated testing -> several months

Conversely, our CL method directly detects very small traces of peroxide allowing a material's oxidation level to be determined very quickly.

Evaluation of early stage of oxidation & stability to oxidation

    Direct measurement of peroxides

Multiple measurement and imaging detection by CCD camera

Detect active oxygen, micro analysis with high sentivity

Monitor the cavitation or physiological luminescence

  • Chemiluminescence Analyzer Series

    CLA-FS4

To use Photomultiplier (PMT) as a detector and most high sensitive instrument. You can measure CL intensity and CL spectrum. Our standard product to apply any study.

    CLA-FL2

To use Photomultiplier (PMT) as a detector. This is used with high performance liquid Chromatograpy (HPLC) and the value output from 0 to 1V. To receive the data, you need to some recorder.

    CLA-ID4

To use Photomultiplier (PMT) as a detector and most high sensitive detector. You can measure CL intensity only.

    CLA-IMG

To use CCD Camera as a detector. It is possible to take a picture of CL to see an oxidation area of a sample. You can measure maximum 6 samples at the same times.

    CLA-SP3

To use CCD Camera and Diffraction grating. It is possible to measure a spectrum data with high resolution and very short time (0.1 sec)
